Road work has resumed on the north end of Narcissus Road between Juniper and Ivy in Clear Lake Shores, and the city is asking drivers to use alternate routes.
The city posted a road work alert Tuesday, Sept. 8, confirming crews are back on the segment. No specific detour streets were named.
The project appears to be running behind. A city schedule posted July 13 had mill and overlay paving on the Juniper-to-North Shore Drive segment finishing by Sept. 3, with street striping for the entire project set for Sept. 10 and final cleanup from Sept. 14–18. All dates were listed as weather-dependent.
Crews have been working northward since equipment arrived July 14. The city also issued a road work alert Aug. 31 when work first resumed on the north end.
The original schedule's final cleanup window of Sept. 14–18 has not been confirmed or updated by the city.
