A Hello Sugar waxing and sugaring salon is expected to open soon in Webster after construction finishes this month, adding a new hair-removal option along the Bay Area Boulevard corridor.

Construction on the Webster location is expected to wrap up in early August, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing first reported by Community Impact on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The salon had not announced an official opening date as of that report.

Hello Sugar offers full-body waxing, sugaring, laser hair removal and brow and lash services. The national franchise, formerly known as Sugar Me Wax, has opened more than 250 locations across the country.

The Webster spot will be the chain's second in the Clear Lake area. Hello Sugar already operates a salon at 19056 Gulf Fwy., Suite 40, in Friendswood, inside Salons by JC in the Baybrook Mall parking lot.

A specific street address for the Webster location has not been published. Residents can watch for the listing to appear on the company's location finder once an opening date is set.
