Houston workforce consultant Ron Klinger will speak on preparing local businesses for the "silver tsunami" of retiring workers at the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce's September General Membership Luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Klinger, who leads the Houston firm Motivational Transitions, has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational development, according to his LinkedIn profile. His presentation is titled "Breaking Down the Key Threat to Your Business That No One Is Talking About," according to the chamber's event listing.

Klinger spoke at the chamber's Nonprofit Executive Leadership Luncheon in June on moving from "overwhelmed to energized," the chamber said in a post on X.

The luncheon runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bay Oaks Country Club, 14545 Bay Oaks Blvd. in Houston, according to the chamber's event listing.
