Friendswood ISD families can now pull up cafeteria menus, staff directories and campus reminders from a single app on their phones.
The district launched its new mobile app on Sunday, Aug. 30, giving parents and staff a direct channel for district and campus news, upcoming events and deadline reminders, Community Impact reported.
Parents can use the app to browse district documents, look up staff and department directories, and check weekly cafeteria menus organized by day and meal type. One feature lets families select specific campuses and organizations to receive targeted reminders rather than alerts for all six district schools, including Friendswood High School and Friendswood Junior High.
The app also lets users add district events directly to their personal calendars.
The app is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, according to the district's website. Families with questions can reach the district at (281) 482-1267 or visit myfisd.com.
