Additional alleged victims have come forward against Lewis Stott, the former Friendswood teacher accused of sexually abusing a child, the Friendswood Police Department confirmed, as KHOU first reported.

Police said the new alleged victims attended The Galloway School during different school years while Stott worked there. The department did not specify how many new victims have come forward.

Stott, 32, of Seabrook, was arrested Aug. 7 on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a young child. The charge stems from allegations of abuse that police say occurred between 2020 and 2026 while Stott was employed at The Galloway School, a self-described STEM academy at 3200 W. Bay Area Blvd. that serves pre-K through fifth grade.

Police said two additional counts of attempted indecency with a child by sexual contact were filed Aug. 14. Bonds on those charges total $100,000. Stott is out on bond on all three charges, police said.

During his time at The Galloway School, Stott held several roles: physical education teacher, substitute teacher, second-grade teacher and soccer club coach, according to police.

The Galloway School said in a statement Aug. 8 that Stott separated from the school in May. The school said it has cooperated with investigations by Friendswood police, the Harris County District Attorney's Office, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and the Texas Education Agency. No updated school statement appears in public records as of Aug. 28.

When Stott was first arrested, Friendswood police said his position and access to children meant there could be additional victims who had not yet come forward.

The department is again urging parents and guardians whose children interacted with Stott to talk with their children. Anyone with information is asked to call Friendswood police at 281-996-3300. The department said it can connect families with its Crime Victim Liaison and other professionals trained to work with children.
