The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is asking the public to help locate relatives of a 64-year-old Webster man who died Saturday, July 25, in the 900 block of West NASA Parkway.
Timothy John Clyne, born Nov. 19, 1961, was one of six people whose names the agency released Tuesday, Aug. 18, in a public appeal for next-of-kin information, according to KHOU. Clyne was the only one of the six who died in Webster; the others died in Houston between July 20 and Aug. 3.
The agency has not released a cause or manner of death.
A photo of Clyne was included in the KHOU report, which may help anyone who recognizes him but does not know his name.
What happens without family
When the Institute of Forensic Sciences cannot locate next of kin, it creates a case page in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, known as NamUs. Clyne's case is listed as NamUs #161710, with the agency's internal case number ML26-2730.
If no family member comes forward, the institute refers the decedent to Harris County Social Services Bereavement Services for a county burial. The agency, which has been a member of the Texas Medical Center since 1983, investigates sudden, unexpected and injury-related deaths across Harris County to determine cause and manner of death.
