Space Center Houston members have one last shot at the center's after-hours summer programming Saturday, Aug. 15.

The nonprofit's final Summer Member Night of 2026 runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Space Center Houston announced on X. The event is free for members and includes space simulations, International Space Station astronaut science activities and insights from the center's volunteers.

The series has given members exclusive evening access throughout the summer without the daytime crowds. July's edition on July 24 featured free virtual reality and simulator rides, telescope stargazing and a last-chance viewing of The Galaxy's Game exhibit before it left Aug. 3.

Reservations are required for the Aug. 15 event. Members can reserve spots through the link in Space Center Houston's social media post or at the center's Summer Member Nights page.

Space Center Houston, the official visitor center of NASA's Johnson Space Center, is located at 1601 E. NASA Parkway in Nassau Bay.

Saturday, Aug. 22: Seabrook's Pelican Bay Pool ribbon cutting, with open swim from 2 to 6 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 28: Seabrook's second annual Bingo with Badges at the Community House, 1210 Anders Lane, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families can play bingo alongside Seabrook police officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel and 911 dispatchers. The evening includes pizza, popcorn, drinks, prizes, a photo booth with first responder gear and giveaways. Sponsors include Gulf Coast Limestone and the Seabrook Police Officers Association.
