Clear Lake travels to Barbers Hill for a 3 p.m. match on Tuesday, Sept. 22, riding the momentum of a 19-0 shutout of Clear Brook in District 18-6A team tennis last week, Barbers Hill Athletics announced.
The Falcons swept all 19 matches against the Wolverines during the week of Sept. 15. No individual match scores or player details were reported for the Clear Lake-Clear Brook match, the Galveston County Daily News reported.

Clear Lake won every doubles pairing and every singles slot to record the clean sweep. The result sets up a demanding stretch for both programs as district play continues this week.
After the Barbers Hill match Tuesday, Clear Lake hosts Clear Springs on Friday, Sept. 25. Barbers Hill is coming off a 19-0 shutout of Dickinson last week, while Clear Springs lost 12-7 to Clear Falls, so the Falcons face a quick test of whether the shutout performance carries forward.
Clear Brook, on the other side of the 19-0 result, hosts Clear Springs on Tuesday, Sept. 22, before visiting Clear Creek on Friday, Sept. 25. The Wolverines will look to regroup after a match in which they could not get on the scoreboard.
