About 40 local health and wellness organizations will set up shop at Friendswood's Community Health Fair on Sept. 29.
The City of Friendswood is hosting the event at the Friendswood Activity Building, 416 Morningside Drive, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair is open to all ages, according to a listing in The Galveston County Daily News.
Vendors will cover physical health, mental health, financial wellness and legal resources. The city's Parks & Recreation department, which is organizing the fair, said it will bring together health services, resources and information in one place, according to its Facebook page.
The city has not released a list of participating organizations.
One Parks & Recreation Facebook post lists pre-registration as required. Residents can call the Activity Building at 281-482-8441 for details and to sign up.
