Tickets are on sale for Galaxy Lights 2026, the annual space-themed holiday light show at Space Center Houston, 1601 E. NASA Parkway.

The event runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, through Monday, Jan. 4, 2027, according to Space Center Houston's website. Ticket prices range from $19.95 to $27.95 per person depending on the night. Children 3 and younger get in free.

Space Center Houston announced the sale on X on Thursday, Oct. 1, urging visitors to book before favorite nights fill up. The center's website says tickets are limited and dates are selling out quickly.

This year's edition adds a galactic snow slide, which Space Center Houston bills as new for 2026.

Wellby Financial returns as the event's presenting sponsor. In a November 2025 press release for the prior season, Space Center Houston president and CEO William T. Harris said the Wellby partnership helps the center connect the NASA Johnson Space Center community with space exploration.

The 2025 season featured Apollo-themed lanterns, a 200-foot LED light tunnel and a 30-foot Space Launch System rocket display. Attractions also included LED swings beneath the historic Boeing 747 at Independence Plaza and nightly screenings of the film "Holidays in Space." Space Center Houston has not yet released a full attraction list for 2026.

Galaxy Lights admission includes access to the center's exhibitions, though NASA Tram Tours and the Starship Gallery will be closed during the event. Last entry each night is 9 p.m. The center recommends allowing 90 minutes.

Sensory-Friendly Nights will offer reduced lighting and other adjustments for guests who benefit from a lower-stimulation environment. Discounted admission is available on those select nights. Group discounts are available for parties of 20 or more by calling 281-283-4755.

The center's member events page lists Saturday, Nov. 14, as a preview night for members. Tickets and event details are available at spacecenter.org/galaxy-lights.
