A Dairy Queen opened Sept. 28 at 16190 Old Galveston Road in Webster, adding a fast-food option to the Highway 3 corridor.
Staff confirmed the opening to Community Impact, which first reported the new location. The restaurant is already hiring for a grill cook position, staff told the outlet.
Texas Dairy Queens carry a menu distinct from the national chain, including regional items like the Hungr-Buster burger not found at standard locations.
The store sits along a commercial stretch where the I-45 Gulf Freeway corridor sees about 250,000 vehicles daily, according to city documents cited by Community Impact. Webster is roughly 80% commercial, with a population of about 12,500.
The Webster Dairy Queen is the latest restaurant to open in the area. A Good Good Thai Kitchen opened in early October in Friendswood Crossing.
The store is at 16190 Old Galveston Road and is hiring through dairyqueen.com.
