A school-supply drive at Webster's new Midline development filled 45 backpacks for Bay Area students this summer, organized by one of the community's earliest residents.

Carolyn Lentini, a real estate agent with 30 years of experience who previously lived in Seabrook, coordinated the drive through Real Estate Supporting Communities, a Texas-based nonprofit known as RESC. The group supports teachers, veterans, healthcare workers, first responders and seniors, according to its website.

Lentini used the Midline Welcome Center as a drop-off point and worked with the development's Community Life Team to collect supplies, according to a profile on the Midline website. The backpacks went to local schools in the Bay Area, though the profile did not name specific schools.

Lentini chose a Highland Homes plan at Midline, where the builder offers homes on 45-foot lots starting in the mid-$400,000s. She had previously worked as a sales counselor for two major homebuilders before buying for herself.

"When people ask me where Midline is, I say, 'right behind Costco,'" Lentini said in the profile.

She watched the site transform from open ranchland while living in Seabrook. The 1,066-acre development sits along FM 528 between I-45 South and West Bay Area Boulevard, adjacent to Baybrook Mall. Brookfield Residential and CDC Houston announced the project in May 2025.

Midline's first homeowners, Mindy Tran and Trinh La, were recognized in June. The developer reported more than 100 home sales by that point. The community is planned for 2,800 single-family homes built by four builders, with prices ranging from the $400,000s to over $1 million, according to the Midline website.

Students in the development are zoned to Clear Creek ISD: Greene Elementary, Brookside Intermediate and Clear Brook High School.

The community's main amenity, The Midline Club, is under construction at the entrance off FM 528 and is planned to open in summer 2027.
